Privacy information

Data and purposes

• Account details are used to provide and secure customer accounts.
• Order, contact, delivery and payment-status details are used to perform orders, prevent fraud, provide support and meet legal accounting obligations.
• Basket and preference data are stored in the browser to operate the storefront.

Recipients

Stripe processes checkout and payment data. Delivery details may be shared only with suppliers and delivery providers involved in fulfilling an order. Liquorice & Co. does not store payment-card numbers.

Legal bases

Account and order processing is necessary to provide the service or perform the sales contract. Accounting and consumer records are processed to meet legal obligations. Fraud prevention, service security and support may rely on legitimate interests where those interests do not override customer rights. Optional analytics or marketing storage would require the visitor’s choice before use.

Security and data minimisation

Liquorice & Co. limits access to operational data, uses secure connections and stores passwords as one-way hashes. Verification and password-reset links expire. No internet service can promise absolute security, but access and retention are limited to what is needed for the stated purposes.

Retention and rights

Order records are retained for the periods required by accounting, tax and consumer law. Account data are kept while the account remains active or where a legal obligation requires retention. Short-lived security and reservation records expire automatically. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing by emailing support. You may also complain to the CNIL.
