Cookie information

Liquorice & Co. uses essential browser storage to operate the shop and customer accounts.

Essential storage

• liquorice_session is a secure, HTTP-only session cookie used for account, form-security and administrative sessions. It expires when the browser session ends.
• liquorice-cart stores the basket in this browser.
• liquoriceandco-language stores the selected storefront language.
• sel-cookie-consent-v1 stores the visitor’s analytics and marketing choices.

Optional categories

The consent controls support optional analytics and marketing categories. The storefront does not currently load an analytics or advertising integration.

How these technologies differ

A cookie is a small value sent with web requests. Browser storage keeps information on the visitor’s device without automatically sending it to every page. Liquorice & Co. uses both only for the operational purposes listed above. Essential storage supports security, basket continuity, language selection and remembering the privacy choice; disabling it can prevent those features from working correctly.

Payments and external services

When a customer chooses to pay, the shop redirects to secure Stripe Checkout. Stripe operates that payment page under its own privacy and cookie information. Liquorice & Co. does not use the consent preference to enable advertising cookies on the storefront and does not store full payment-card numbers.

Duration and deletion

The session cookie ends with the browser session. Basket, language and consent values remain in browser storage until they are replaced, cleared through browser settings or removed by the visitor. Clearing site data may empty the basket and reset the selected language and privacy choices.
